Do you know where does the ATM came from? Yes i am wondering who discovered ATM and why he invented it. I stumble a site the other day and talking about ATM and i found out that this ATM that everybody use nowadays was a genius discovery of John Shepherd-Barron, a former executive with 
British printing firm De La Rue. He was credited with being the father of the automated teller machine or ATM. He says the inspiration for the ATM came to him while taking a bath in 1967. He hit upon the idea of a chocolate bar dispenser, but replacing chocolate with cash. Shepherd-Barron's wife played a pivotal role in standardizing PINs to 4 numbers. Over the kitchen table, she said she could only remember 4 figures, so because of her, 4 figures became the world standard. Yes this is a clever idea because this is very useful in today's generations. You can bring it anywhere and use it without cash in your pocket just your ATM. Wow i am really impress.
