My paintings

Here are 2 of my paintings and its not really pretty but i just want to share to everybody. What can you say? I am just newbie in painting world and my hubby wants me to be one of the good artist someday. Hmm just only my hubby i just want to know the techniques of painting. So here it is i show it here.

Darlene's Question: What did God made first, the chicken or the egg?
My answer: I guess chicken is first and then egg. No egg if you dont have chicken.

Emzkie's Question: Why do women feel so cranky when they have their period?
My answer: It depends upon the person because i am not feeling very bad not like others. But i have an advice just exercise a week before your period and you will not feel bad when you have your own period. Try it and tell me if it works for you.

Marie`s Question: What are Filipino's most proud of?
My answer: Of your being hospitable and a good & faithful wife/husband... hehehhe

Now here`s my question: Is it better to spank the kids? Explain your answer please.

God`s Love

This is a true story of something that happened just a few years ago at USC.
There was a professor of philosophy there who was a deeply committed atheist.
His primary goal for one required class was to spend the entire semester to prove that God couldn't exist.
His students were always afraid to argue with him because of his impeccable logic.
Sure, some had argued in class at times, but no one had ever really gone against him because of his reputation.
At the end of every semester on the last day, he would say to his class of 300 students, "If there is anyone here who still believes in Jesus, stand up!"
In twenty years, no one had ever stood up. They knew what he was going to do next. He would say, "Because anyone who believes in God is a fool".
If God existed, he could stop this piece of chalk from hitting the ground and breaking Such a simple task to prove that He is God, and yet He can't do it."
And every year, he would drop the chalk onto the tile floor of the classroom and it would shatter into a hundred pieces.
All of the students would do nothing but stop and stare.
Most of the students thought that God couldn't exist. Certainly, a number of Christians had slipped through, but! For 20 years, they had been too afraid to stand up. Well, a few years ago there was a freshman who happened to enroll.
He was a Christian, and had heard the stories about his professor..
He was required to take the class for his major, and he was afraid. But for three months that semester, he prayed every morning that he would have the courage to stand up no matter what the professor said, or what the class thought.
Nothing they said could ever shatter his faith...he hoped.
Finally, the day came. ! The professor said, "If there is anyone here who still believes in God, stand up!" The professor and the class of 300 people looked at him, shocked, as he stood up at the back of the classroom.
The professor shouted, "You FOOL!!!
If God existed, he would keep this piece of chalk from breaking when it hit the ground!"
He proceeded to drop the chalk, but as he did, it slipped out of his fingers, off his shirt cuff, onto the pleat of his pants, down his leg, and off his shoe. As it hit the ground, it simply rolled away unbroken. The professor's jaw dropped as he stared at the chalk. He looked up at the young man, and then ran out of the lecture hall.
The young man who had stood, proceeded to walk to the front of the room and shared his faith in Jesus for the next half hour. 300 students stayed and listened as he told of God's love for them and of His power through Jesus.

You Are Never Alone

Imagine what do you feel if you are alone. Is it peaceful but why some are not happy if you are just alone? Of course No man is an Island. I have something to share and i hope you like this. Its a food for thought for the weekend.

Our friends might forsake us when we get bankrupt, but God never does. He is a friend who will stick to us in good and bad times. He says in Hebrews 13:5 " I will never leave you nor forsake you."
The early American Indians had a particular way of training young boys to become brave. On the night of a boy`s thirteenth birthday, he was blindfolded and taken several miles away from home.
When he took off the blindfold, he was in the middle of a forest and he was scared to death! Every time a twig snapped, he would think that a wild animals was getting ready to devour him. The next morning, the boy looked around and saw flowers, trees, and a path.
And then, to his complete amazement, he saw the figure of a man standing just a few feet away, armed with a bow and arrow. It was his father. When he thought he was just alone, his father had been there all night long.
Friend, there may be times when you can`t just see God beside you in your problems, and you think you are all alone, remember He is always there. He was there with Daniel inside the lion`s den. He was there with Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego inside the burning furnace. Friend, God will be also be there for you. He will never leave you not forsake you. Don`t be afraid. You are never alone.

My dear friends i hope this message today change your heart that God is always there , He is our refuge and helper. In the storms of life he help us and we will not afraid because we are never alone.

Stop the Abuse

Today is the day where thousands of bloggers join together to voice out their heartfelt support for the different kinds of abuse and we need to support it. I felt one of the blogger that abuse by sites that just want their part to be more like achieve than ours. Imagine you will going to blog and post 300-600 words and then they just pay you $2? Thats not good and i guess they need to consider the bloggers part also not only theirs because you do your best to find excellent words to advertise and then they just pay you just like a beggar. Hmmm... i really feel bad about it. In my own idea , they need to consider us bloggers that we devote our most of the time to make advertisement interesting and attract costumers that they will pay more not less.

Another abuse i want to talk is about the child abuse. My heart really hurt of thinking kids that abuse by somebody not only by parents but also those who just use kids for their own good not for the child. Is abortion a kind of child abuse? I guess it is! The child that it is inside the womb of a mother has the right to live not to be aborted. What about the child that has been abandon by the parents, is that abuse? Yes it is an abuse. How about the children of divorce parents, is that abuse to kids especially that the child don't have permanent home because the parents are separated and they need to go one to another? You can answer that i know you have an idea about this. I know lots of children that abandon by their parents and also those kids that was aborted. Do you think that the abuse children have nice future, i guess not right? Our children is the hope of our nation and how they can have hope if you will abuse them and not let them live or support? Its really hurting me. Before my son born, one of the attendants of the clinic was told me and ask if they will find something bad about my son inside my womb, she asked me if i will going to abort it. I felt sorry for her because i am not supporting any abort cases. I plainly said to her the big "NO" i need my son and whatever happens i will accept it because i love him. Does he has the right to live? To see this beautiful world that God created just for all of us? Examine yourself if you do an abuse thing to your kids too. If they make a mistake did you listen to them the reason why they do that? Or you just ignore it? Parents listen to your kids, please give them chance to express how they feel and why they do such thing that you don`t like. Hope this post will remind us that we are all human and we need to listen and see how others feel and every have the right to see, tell, live and share.

Another abuse i will include is being abuse because you`re a Christian. Around the world, in over 40 countries, our brothers and sisters daily face persecution for their faith in Jesus Christ. Five Finger Prayers

Don`t you know that your five fingers have prayers. This is came from a friend i will share it to you.

1. Your thumb is nearest you. So begin your prayers by praying for those closest to you. They are the easiest to remember. To pray for our loved ones is, as C. S. Lewis once said, a "sweet duty."

2. The next finger is t he pointing finger. Pray for those who teach, instruct and heal. This includes teachers, doctors, and ministers. They need support and wisdom in pointing others in the right direction. Keep them in your prayers.

3. The next finger is the tallest finger. It reminds us of our leaders. Pray for the president, leaders in business and industry, and administrators. These people shape our nation and guide public opinion. They need God's guidance.

4. The fourth finger is our ring finger. Surprising to many is the fact that this is our weakest finger, as any piano teacher will testify. It should remind us to pray for those who are weak, in trouble or in pain. They need your prayers day and night. You cannot pray too much for them.

5. And lastly comes our little finger - the smallest finger of all which is where we should place ourselves in relation to God and others. As the Bible says, "The least shall be the greatest among you." Your pinkie should remind you to pray for yourself. By the time you have prayed for the other four groups, your own needs will be put into proper perspective and you will be able to pray for yourself more effectively.

Well, i am in the college as a working student. I worked in the dormitory as an assistant dean. Its a hard life because you worked 12-16 hours a day and at the same time you will going to study for your class exams, written and oral tests. But God did not forsake me but instead He blessed me with a blessing that i cant imagine and now i am here in USA.

2. What have you done 1 year ago?
I came here last 2 years ago and last year we are so busy in our farm. I helped my hubby to work in our small farm. Its a good year of farming unlike this year but i am still thankful to God He is so good not only for us but all of us.

I like fruits, nuts, i bake sometimes a bread, cakes and muffins.

I will pay our debt and bills hehehe i guess not everybody have debt but i know you have to. I will open an account for my kids future. Give help for the ministry.(spreading the good news of salvation) Then help to some charity organization and many things you can do if you have lots of money. But thats only in the hands of God if He will give that to us. He knows whats best for all of us.

Camp Meeting

This morning i was excited because this is my first camp meeting i ever attended here in US. But when i was there with my hubby it was not the camp meeting i am expected. What i thought that it is a camp meeting that really they have camping style and have everybody a tent. But its alright as long as i was there. I like the music concert of Michael Harris that was very good. He sang very good and its wonderful to hear him singing. We have a potluck of our church because most of the members attended that camp meeting. I felt tired tonight but still i manage to come in my computer. Thats all guys i will say sleeping beauty is off. hehehe

Weekend`s Smile

Happy weekend guys i hope that you have a very nice weekends. I know i have a nice weekend because i will going to the amp meeting tomorrow. Its my first time to attend thats why i am excited and i know its fun to be there. I miss that occasion in the Philippines. I always in any activities in the church. Well, may God bless us as we have our weekends to be able to face another week of our lives. I am praying that hopefully everybody have their weekends happy and wonderful. Five Minutes Cures of COLDS AND FLU

My hubby have this book about different kinds of sickness that has fast action remedies for common health problems. I will share it to you at least it will help this to your sickness.

COLDS AND FLU

Wash your hands. Colds are infectious diseases caused by viruses, and these viruses are spread by human contact. A 1 - to - 2 minute hand-washing removes many of the 200 or so different viruses that cause a cold, says Thomas Gossel, Ph.D., a professor and chairman of the Department of Pharmacology and Biomedical Sciences at Ohio Northern University.
Bundle up. "When you go outside and become cold and wet, what you actually are doing is lowering your resistance by raising your stress level", says Dr. Gossel. So take an extra minute or two to bundle up especially when its cold and damp outside.
Take your vitamins. Especially vitamins A and C, which help activate infection-fighting white blood cells and boost immunity (which, turn, help fight colds). These vitamins have been linked in several studies with protecting against respiratory ailments.
Humidify the air. "In the wintertime, indoor air is so very dry and that lack of humidity is a great breeding ground for cold viruses," says Douglas Holsclaw, M.D., an associate professor of medicine and director of the Pediatric Pulmonary Division at Hahnemann University Hospital in Philadelphia. "To add moisture, leave bathroom doors open during showers, have a lot of house plants (they add humidity) and keep open pots of water around (especially near stoves and radiators)."
Get vaccinated. "I advise getting a flu shot each year-particularly if you`re elderly or have asthma, bronchitis, heart disease, cystic fibrosis or any other condition that involves the lungs," says Dr. Holsclaw.
Drink plenty of water. This helps replace the fluids you lose during fever. Soup is good, too, because it helps boost your stores of needed nutrients.
Give viruses a hot time. Hot liquids have the advantage of raising the temperature of the throat, which slows viral reproduction.

I think to share this because i have a cold since yesterday until today. I drink a lot of water.

Rain Rain Rain!

Oh we are happy that the rain came because its a long time that plants rain and its very dry out here. My hubby wants to work in our farm this morning but he came back to the house because he said it rain in the farm and its too wet. He decided that we just going to Wilmington to rotate our tire. We did and after that we went to toy `r us to buy some toys for our son. Its not easy a toys that are not made in China because the toys are mostly made in China. We are just scared of lead poison. Our son`s health is very important thats why we cant take a chance. Its still raining outside and we know that plants are happy for they can have water in it. I always sneezing because maybe the temperature change. I have cold very bad. Its fine i will use to it. We came home i got tired. I feel very sleepy and wanting to sleep but i remember that i need to post for the day so i did make 2 for my blogs. Have a good day, nite everyone. God bless and take care all.

I am very happy today because God answers my prayers. I ask a prayer about my opps that will be accepted in one site that assigned me. I am praying because last time i am rejected 2-3 times. I really believe and i promise something and i will really accomply what i`ve promised to Him. I am happy really happy imagine 2 of my postings are all accepted. My goodness this is great. Also i am accepted in blogitive.com. That site did not accepted my blog last time but i received an email last night that they already accepted my blog. I can imagined how God really answer our prayers. Ask and it shall be given to you. Knock and the door will open, seek and you will find. Is it family message? Yes of course thats from the Bible. 7 Things that makes me happy

This are the 7 things that makes me happy

1. I am very happy when i wake-up my son will hug me and kiss me. Of course hubby too:)

2. I am happy when i know that my family in Pinas are ok and they are in good health of course if they need help we are willing as long as we have ours.

3. I am happy when i can help others beside my family in Philippines. We have lots of plans but its just the money matters not much but i am happy happy of it.

4. Family time going somewhere and having some fun enjoying Gods creation of course i am very happy.

5. I am happy also when i can go to a get together with my friends, and in church.

6. I am happy that God bless us with a wonderful son and i know even yourself happy of your kids. Being a mom is a rewarding thing i am glad i become a mom.

7. Lastly i am happy and thankful to God for giving my hubby to me he is also a blessing to my life.

Things I hate

I got this Tag from Annie and i am thankful for this at least you will know me. Here we go the list of things i hate i guess heheheh.

FOOD: I dont like to eat tomato. My hubby love tomatoes and he just eat it just like candy. I cant eat that it makes me throw up. But tomato is good for you especially men my hubby told me that. Also i remember i dont like Tufo.

FRUITS: I cannot think of any fruits because you know i love fruits. Oh i remember i dont like figs when it is not cook. But i eat it when i make just like fig preserve.

VEGGIES: I cant remember i love veggies

PEOPLE: I hate backbiter people and those that are having bad attitudes towards fellowmen.

EVENT/SITUATION/INCIDENT: I hate if somebody hates me without any reason. If someone hates me just tell me so that i will know.

TV SHOWS/MOVIES: I did not watch a TV shows because we dont have channel for any tv programs. We just watch a movie borrowed tape from Netflix. I dont like and i hate to watch horror movies its scary and its not good.

MUSIC: I hate rock music and hiphap. I just love lovesong and gospel songs.

THINGS AROUND THE WORLD: I hate war and about terrorist. There are lots of people died because of them hopefully God will bless their hearts and stop what they did.

HOUSEHOLD CHORES: I hate cleaning a big house. whaaaaaahhhh... But i need to clean because it is not good to have a dirty house. My hubby is also a perfectionist about cleanliness. I need to do my job and try to be patient and finish my work.

THINGS ABOUT MYSELF: When i was in college some of the students in our dormitory dont like me because they said they always see me not smiling. They think i snub them but actually i am nice hehehe. Just be around me always so that you will know me more. I will change being like that not give smile to everybody but if i am not a good mood dont expect me to smile... heheheh.

This afternoon my hubby and i played lawn tennis. Its a long time since i played like this and really i felt tired and hurts my back. (Tigulang na) Hahahah kidding me. We played 5 games and i just won 1 out of 5. I am a losser but i am not worried. When i was playing with my hubby i am also thinking of being a nominated as one of the Filipino Blog of the week 74. Is that cool? Yes for me it is because not everybody can be nominated and i really appreciate to the one who nominate me. I dont know all the Bisdak member but i try to visit them. If given a chance oh i am so happy and thankful eventhough i saw already one of the nominated that has more than 90 votes and mine is only 5. Its sad but i will accept it. I will do the best i can. Party! Party! Party!

Well today we have 4 parties to be attended but we went to only one. They have all the same time to start so what we did we went to the nearest close our house. I have some pictures of the food that we ate. You know its Filipino foods.

After eating we have another sing-along the famous Karaoke sing-along. All of us enjoyed especially there`s a guy that look like a gay and acting crazy while singing... hehhee he is funny and sing like a woman. But we went home satisfied of that party.
